Cheech Marin

Cheech Marin ( born July 13, 1946 as Richard Anthony Marin in Los Angeles, California) is an American comedian and actor of Mexican origin.

Life

Marin was known as a member of the comedy duo Cheech and Chong along with Tommy Chong. In 1978, Much ado about nothing out ( Up'n Smoke), her first feature -length film, the two shows as survivalists and duration pothead. After several films that span the further adventures of the two characters, the duo split, and Marin continued his career alone. 2010 announced Marin and Chong on a sequel to Up in Smoke, in which they are together again in front of the camera.

In addition to a variety of film roles (among a triple role in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn ), he starred in the television series Nash Bridges (1996-2001 ) on the side of Don Johnson a police officer in San Francisco. He also starred in the series Judging Amy landscape architect Ignacio Messina on the side of Tyne Daly.

Furthermore, he borrowed characters in animated films such as The Lion King and A Bug's his voice. On German television was Cheech Marin et al in Golden Palace (1992-1993), the successor series of Golden Girls to see as a hotel employee Chuy Castillos.
