Cheek (rapper)
Cheek ( born December 22, 1981 in Vantaa, Jare Henrik Tiihonen actually ) is a Finnish hip hop musician.
Biography
Cheeks are interested in a career in music began in 1998 in Lahti. In 2000 he joined the Finnish hip hop group 5th Element, but took two more albums of his own on the way. Human & Beast, which he produced in 2001 and published in-house, is still completely in English, 50/50 from the year after that already contains several songs in Finnish. In 2003, he signed a contract with the major label Sony BMG.
On 31 May 2004, his debut album Avaimet mun kulmille appeared, now completely in Finnish. The album debuted at # 19 in the Finnish charts, the three from the coupled singles were also successful. In the fall of 2012 Cheek took part in the television series Vain elämää that originated after the Swedish model. It met seven famous Finnish musician and in each episode six songs a musician of the others were reinterpreted and then the recordings published. Cheek was sometimes represented with up to seven tracks in the Finnish Top 20. In his version of Puhelinlangat laulaa by Katri Helena he even reached number 1
