Chen Deng

Chén Deng (Chinese陈 登/陈 登, * 170, † 209), style name Yuan Long was a strategist of the late Han Dynasty.

He lived with his father Chen Gui in Xu Province. As the warlord Lü Bu they conquered in the year 193 and the governor Liu drove at, Chen Deng gave the warlord sham in order to plan his downfall can. Despite the warnings of his adviser Chen Gong Lu Bu drew his troops against the powerful warlord Cao Cao, but had to withdraw after a crushing defeat. During his absence, Chen Deng took control of the city and refused Lu Bu entry. He handed the city over to Cao Cao and Liu Bei entered service in one.

Lu Bu was forced to withdraw after Xiapi, his last bastion. There he was betrayed in his last battle of his officers Song Xian and Wei Xu and executed by Cao Cao.
