Chen Zhe

Chen Zhe (born 28 February 1993) is a Chinese snooker player.

Career

To make the leap to the pros on the main tour took Chen 2009/10 participated in the Pontin's International Open Series. However, he went to only two out of eight tournaments and could only post a single win ( against Matthew Day ). In the end, he ended up only on the 113th place in the overall rankings.

In the season 2010/ 11, the Q School solved the DIOS - series from the qualifying tournament series for amateurs: Chen failed in 2011 at one of the three tournaments until the final ( against Andrew Norman ) his group. 2012 he won the first tournament his group and thus received a two - year tour ticket for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 season.

Also, in tournaments the Players Tour Championship seasons 2010/11 and 2011/12, Chen had already tried to compete with the professional players of the Main Tour. He reached three times the round of last 32, defeating amongst other things Players like Matthew Selt or Rory McLeod.
