Chen Zude

Chen Zude (Chinese陈祖德/陈祖德, Pinyin Chén Zǔdé, W.-G. Ch'en Tsute; born February 19, 1944 in Shanghai, China, † November 1, 2012 in Beijing, China) was a Chinese professional Gospieler (Chinese Weiqi ).

Go career

Chen Zude was one of the most excellent Weiqispieler China. He is considered the founder of China's opening. In 1982 he became the first Chinese Gospieler the modern era of professional 9th Dan. From 1992 to 2003 he was president of the Zhongguo Qiyuan, National Organization for Chinese board games and card games.
