The Chernihiv ( U310 ) (Ukrainian Чернігів ) is a minesweeper of the Natya - class Project 266M Aquamarine [Note 1] of the Ukrainian Navy and is one of the permanent readiness forces.

The home port of the named after the Ukrainian city of Chernihiv ship is a port in Donuzlav in Nowooserne on the Crimean peninsula.

The range of the minesweeper is at a speed of twelve knots 1500 NM. There may be valid for ten days autonomous and at sea.

History

The minesweeper with the serial number C -928 was built on the Nevsky Shipyard ( Середньоневський СБЗ ) in Leningrad for the Soviet Navy. The takeover of the ship by the name Zenitchyk in the Black Sea Fleet took place on 10 September 1974. While the membership of the Soviet and later the Russian Navy, the ship took part in operations in the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean in part.

After the division of the Black Sea Fleet and the takeover of the ship by the Naval Forces of Ukraine, the ship was held in memory of the Battle of Schowti Vody in the city Schowti Vody, in Schowti Vody ( U310 ) and on 18 June 2004 finally in Chernigov ( U310 ) renamed.
