Chionodoxa lochiae

The Cypriot bluebell ( Chionodoxa lochiae ) is a plant of the genus bluebells ( Chionodoxa ) in the family of asparagus plants ( Asparagaceae ).

Features

The Cypriot bluebell is a perennial herbaceous plant. This Geophyt forms onions as outlasting. The 2-4 flowers are pale blue and its center is not white. The Perigonröhre is 5-7 millimeters long. The Perigonzipfel measure 12-13 × 4-6 mm.

Occurrence

The Cypriot bluebell occurs on Cyprus.
