Chota Province

Chota is one of 13 provinces which make up the Cajamarca region of northern Peru.

It is bordered on the north by the province Cutervo, on the east by the region Amazonas, on the south by the provinces Celendín, Hualgayoc and Santa Cruz and to the west by the region of Lambayeque.
