Chraštice

Chraštice ( German United Kraschtitz, also Kraschtitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers east of Březnice and belongs to Příbram.

Geography

Chraštice is located in the Central Bohemian hills on a hill on the left side of the source basin of the creek Sladkovský creek. To the north lies the pond Čunát. On the eastern outskirts of the village the main road I / 4 between Prague and Strakonice runs, to the north of the siding Tochovice to the dam of Orlik Dam. History

The first mention of Chraštice took place in 1260. The village was the seat of Vladiken of Chraštice who built a stone celebrations in the 14th century. At about the same time was also the church. The first written evidence of the celebrations took place in 1356 as the seat of Nedvěd of Chraštice and his son Drslav. In the 15th century, the lords of Swan Mountain purchased the property, which were referred to in the course of time as Velké Chrastice and Kraštice. After the abolition of patrimonial Chraštice / Great Kraschtitz formed in 1850 with the districts Chraštičky, Bukovany, Holušice, Kozárovice, Sedlečko and retec a municipality in the district team Breznitz and the judicial district of Miro joke.
