Chris Klein (actor)
Frederick Christopher " Chris " Klein ( born March 14, 1979 in Hinsdale, Illinois ) is an American actor. He played his most famous role in American Pie.
Life
Klein grew up in Hinsdale in the U.S. state of Illinois and moved to Omaha in Nebraska as a teenager. Even in high school him his first role as an actor by director Alexander Payne was offered, sought in Klein's school ( Millard West High School ) for locations for the film Election. Then Klein attended Texas Christian University, where he studied performing arts.
Beginning of 2004, Klein became engaged to his longtime girlfriend, actress Katie Holmes, in 2005 they separated, however.
In February 2005, Klein was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
