Chris Morton
Chris Morton MBE ( born July 22, 1956 in Davyhulme, Lancashire ) is a former British Speedway and Long Track driver.
Career
It was founded in 1980 with the UK team world champion, won the 1984 Lonigo, Italy with compatriot Peter Collins the Best Pairs World Championship, was six times in the long course World Cup final, and seven in the Speedway World Cup final. He began his career in 1973 at Ellesmere Port, but then moved to the Belle Vue Aces and 1990, he finished his career. 1992 got to Morton for his achievements and awarded the MBE medal from Queen Elizabeth II for the British Speedway Sports. His brother Dave was a successful speedway driver.
