Chris Pyatt

Chris Pyatt ( born July 3, 1963 in London) is a former British professional boxer and former world champion of the WBO middleweight.

Amateur career

In the English Championships 1981 he lost the final of the welterweight Terry Marsh, who was the first undefeated boxing champion Kicked back in Europe wrote sports history later. 1982 Pyatt was English welterweight champion and won the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane.

Professional career

After three wins and re- gain the Commonwealth Championship light middleweight, he was defeated in July 1996 on points against Steve Foster ( 18-13 ). In May 1997, he finished his career with a points win over Maurice Forbes ( 8-1). Subsequently, he was boxing coach and owner of the Boxing Club Braunstone in Leicester.
