Christen Christensen (figure skater)

Christen Christensen ( born September 17, 1904 in Oslo, † June 2, 1969 ) was a Norwegian figure skater, who started the pair of running.

As a figure skater Christensen appeared with Randi Bakke in pair skating. Together they were from 1929 to 1936 eight times in a row Norwegian champions. Twice she took part in the World Championships. 1933 in Stockholm, she won the bronze medal behind the Hungarians Emília Rotter and László Szollás and the Austrians Idi Papez and Karl Zwack. The following year they finished in fifth place in Helsinki. In their single Olympics Bakke and Christensen 1936, in Garmisch -Partenkirchen Fifteenth.

Christensen was from 1937 to 1940 and from 1945 to 1947 a member of the Committee of the Norwegian Skating Figure Skating Association. He worked as a businessman and had a radio shop in Oslo.
