Christian Garin

Christian Garin (born 30 May 1996 Santiago) is a Chilean tennis player.

Career

Christian Garin plays mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Futures Tour. He has so far been celebrating a tournament in a double competition on the ITF Futures Tour. In 2013 he won the junior tournament the French Open against Alexander Zverev. In the doubles competition, he reached to the side of Nicolas Jarry also the final, but lost to Kyle Edmund and Frederico Ferreira Silva in straight sets.

In the play-off match against Italy he gave in September 2012 his debut for the Chilean Davis Cup team, but lost his match against Simone Bolelli in straight sets. In February 2013 he first participated in a tournament of the ATP World Tour. In Viña del Mar, he received a wild card by the tournament and reached the second round, where he eventually failed to Jérémy Chardy.
