Christian Liljegren
Christian Liljegren (* 1972, in the meantime Christian Rivel ) is a Swedish singer, composer and label owner of the Christian metal scene.
Liljegren founded in 1993, together with Carl Johan Grimmark the band Narnia, whose lead singer and lyricist, he was until 2007. After the recording contract between Nuclear Blast and Narnia had expired, Rivel founded the label Rivel Records. There the albums of Narnia, Veni Domine, Divine Fire, Slechtvalk, Grimmark, Harmony and Majestic Vanguard will be published up to now, among others.
In 2004, Christian Liljegren together with Jani Stefanovic ( Essence of Sorrow, Miseration, Renascent ) the symphonic metal band Divine Fire which released four studio albums with Rivel Records. Moreover, it was and is Liljegren vocalist of the band audio-visual, Flagship and Wisdom Call.
In April 2008, Liljegren retired as a singer of Narnia. The band existed without him until 2010. The Divine Fire project leads Christian Liljegren since 2010 with a new cast on.
Christian Liljegren took at his wedding to the last name of his wife, and was called up to the divorce Christian Rivel. His wife is a great-granddaughter of the famous clown Charlie Rivel. After the divorce in 2007, he took back to his birth name. His label Rivel Records has since acted under the name of Christian Music Sweden.
