Divinefire

Divine Fire is a Christian symphonic metal band (formerly singer of " Narnia ") was founded in 2004 by Jani Stefanovic and Christian Liljegren. With many melodic extreme elements Divine Fire is counted Extreme Metal also to Melodic Death Melodic or. Divine Fire sparked in 2008 with the completion album Farewell. In 2010, the former singer Germán Pascual Narnia, Christian Liljegren and Jani Stefanovic have again joined forces and thus re-established the band Divine Fire. 2011 Eye of the Storm appears as the first album with a new cast.

Band History

The band was formed in the spring of 2004 as Jani Stefanovic, in search of a record deal for his former band Renascent, Christian Liljegren, the owner of the record label " Rivel Records " (now " Christian Music Sweden" ) and the lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic metal band Narnia, contacted and this gave to a demo tape. Liljegren, who was enthusiastic about Stefanovics shots, then started with this, with the assistance of bassist Andreas Olsson, the project Divine Fire.

In 2004, the first album Glory Thy Name was added. Jani Stefanovic composed the music and played guitars, drums and keyboards a Christian Liljegren wrote the lyrics, Andreas Olsson also helped with the vocal arrangements. In addition, many guest musicians were hired for the CD. The album was released in December 2004 in Japan and South Asia via King Records; January 2005, the album was released in Europe on Christian Liljegrens own label Rivel Records.

At the same time they started already with the work for the second album Hero, the September 2005 and November 2005 in Asia, appeared in Europe. This album followed the style of Glory Thy Name, but used more symphonic elements and also contained a cover version of Queen 's hit " Show Must Go On."

In the fall of 2005, the band put together a live -compatible line-up and played concerts in Japan and in the Nordic (Norway ). The third album Into A New Dimension was published in September 2006 in a special edition in Japan and in November 2006 in the rest of the world.

With Farewell 2008 to 2011 appeared the last album of the band. The band broke up, but did in 2010 with a new cast back together (see above)

In addition to Divine Fire Jani Stefanovic still playing in the bands Miseration and Essence of Sorrow. He also played guitar on the third album by Crimson Moonlight. Andreas Olsson starred with Divine Fire in Narnia and in the band of Rob Rock.

Style

The group plays Power Metal with both melodic and aggressive elements. The tempos are sometimes very fast, the guitar solos are rather technical. Keyboards and symphonic elements are dominant. In more recent album, also mix elements of progressive Metals under. In the latest album Eye Of The Storm dive in songs like To Love And Forgive on any items that are attributable to the Medieval Metal. The lyrics deal exclusively Christian content and orient by the White Metal of the 80s.
