Rob Rock

Robert Rock is a metal vocalist and songwriter. He was lead singer of the band Impellitteri, (1987, 1992-2000) Joshua (1988 ), Angelica (1989 ), Driver (1990 ) and Axel Rudi Pell (1991). His solo project is assigned to the Christian Heavy Metal.

Biography

Rob Rock started his career in 1983 when he, the cover band ' Vice ' founded with Chris Impellitteri. In 1986 he played with Tony MacAlpine, Tommy Aldridge and Rudy Sarzo, and took the MARS album " Project: Driver " on. In 1991 he sang for a year at Axel Rudi Pell.

Together with Rob Rock Impellitteri recorded an EP, because of his activities in other projects, however, he did not join the band. Only in the early 90s, he became a regular member of the band. With the band, he celebrated international success, especially in Japan, it became almost superstar status.

As of 2000, Rob Rock concentrated on his solo project. He released the album " Rage of Creation" and included some concerts with a band newly formed. The albums " Eyes of Eternity" and "Holy Light " followed by. Was released in 2007 the album " Garden of Chaos" with the complete listing of instruments the band Narnia as a session musician.

In the metal opera Avantasia (2000-2002) sang Rob Rock the role of " John of Bickenbach ".
