Christian von Alvensleben

Christian von Alvensleben ( born August 27, 1941 in Munich) is a German photographer.

Family background

Alvensleben is the son of Anna Caroline von Alvensleben. An uncle was Heinrich Graf von Lehndorff - Steinort, Veruschka von Lehndorff is a cousin. His grandfather Werner von Alvensleben was a political prisoner in Buchenwald concentration camp and in prison Magdeburg until 1945. Divorced from his marriage to the U.S. citizen Cathrin Kimbel had two sons.

Life and work
