Christine Magnuson

Christine Magnuson (born 17 October 1985 in Tinley Park ) is an American swimmer who has been successful mainly due to the butterfly stretch.

Christine Magnuson studied exercise science at the University of Tennessee, where she is coached by Matt Kredich. She lives in Tinley Park and starts for the team, their university. The breakthrough in swimming managed Magnuson quite late 2007. During the year she was third. At the U.S. championships over 100m Butterfly At the U.S. Trials 2008, she was eighth over 50m freestyle and won the 100m butterfly. So she qualified on the Butterfly route for the Olympic Games in Beijing. On August 11, Magnuson won there behind the Australian Lisbeth Trickett the silver medal.
