Christine Schürrer

Christine Schürrer (* 30 June 1976 in Hanover) is a German citizen who (Sweden) killed and seriously injured on 17 March 2008 two Swedish children in their home in Arboga their mother with 15 hammer blows to the head. As a motive of jealousy is assumed. Schürrer was sentenced in 2008 for two counts of murder and attempted murder to life imprisonment. The sentence was upheld by an appeals court in 2009 and is therefore valid. The case received significant attention in the media.
