Christoph Fildebrandt

Christoph Fildebrandt ( born May 27, 1989 in Wuppertal ) is a German swimmer.

Fildebrandt won the 2007 gold with the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay and silver in the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships. His first and only international medal in the senior category he won in the Short Course European Championships in 2010, where he posted as the final swimmer in the 4-by- 50-meter freestyle relay by Steffen Deibler, Markus Deibler and Stefan fall in second and the German season by silver behind the Italians won. With the World Swimming Championships in 2011 occupied Fildebrandt with the 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay the seventh and the 4 x 200 meter freestyle relay in fourth place. 2012 won Fildebrandt at the German Championships in 48.84 seconds the title over 100 meters. In the European Swimming Championships in 2012 Fildebrandt occupied with the German 4 x 100 -meter freestyle relay to seventh place. In the same year he won the 4 x 200 - meter freestyle relay at the Short Course World Championships in German record time the bronze medal.

The 1.93 m wide Fildebrandt formerly belonged to the SG Remscheid and joined us in 2007 with his coach Jürgen Schmitz for SG Bayer Wuppertal / Uerdingen / Dormagen. He's since October 2013 Police Commissioner of the Land NRW.

In November 2013, he announced his move to SSG Saar Max Ritter, because the Saarland offers ideal conditions to prepare for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
