Christoph Korn

Christoph Korn (* 1965 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German audio and media artists. He lives in Dusseldorf.

Christoph Korn studied philosophy and political science at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University / Frankfurt aM.

In the 1980s he became involved in political contexts and worked 1988/89 as part of a liberationist project with street children in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

In the early 1990s emerged first artistic work, although a political or historical perspective for the next artistic creation has always remained relevant.

Grain worked and works in ensembles with musicians such as Alfred 23 Harth (Imperial Hoot ), Rüdiger Carl and Oliver Augst ( blank ), Wolfgang Schliemann and Joachim Zoepf ( AQTRZ ), the group of artists TEXTxtnd ( Oliver Augst / Michaela Ehinger / Marcel Daemgen ), Lasse -Marc Riek (series -invisible ), Otomo Yoshihide ( Long live the people of the revolution ), or in an ensemble with the visual artist Raymond Pettibon ( blank meets Pettibon ).

Solo

Christoph grain solo works move at the interface of audio and media art. The main object of this work is the phenomenon of life. The realizations are based in recent years increasingly on strategies of deletion and unlawfully removed ( as in the case of the network installation forest ).
