Christoph Menz ( born December 22, 1988 in Magdeburg ) is a German football player.

Career

Born in Magdeburg Menz began with five years at SG Messtron Magdeburg playing football. Two years later he transferred to 1 FC Magdeburg, before 2000 1 FC Union Berlin joined. In the "Iron " he celebrated on 12 September 2007 in Berlin Cup against SV Lichtenberg 47 his competitive debut for the first men's team. In the same season, he also came to 15 (usually short ) inserts in the Regionalliga Nord and qualified with the Union for the new single-track third professional league. There Menz was indeed a reserve player, but got in 23 games more playing time. With the first FC Union he managed this season promotion to the second Bundesliga and beyond the victory in the Berlin Cup, where he played in all seven games.

In the second division the following season, he often came only in the second half and played mainly for use in the Berlin- League for the second team. Then Menz increasingly established itself in the first team and played in the next two years both 27 season games. However, he never came at coach Uwe Neuhaus also completely on the role of complement player, so be expiring in the summer of 2013 contract was not renewed.
