Thorsten Schulz ( 2013)

Thorsten Schulz ( born December 5, 1984 in Gross-Gerau ) is a German football player who is under contract at second division Dynamo Dresden since the 2013/14 season.

Career

His first youth club was a SV Untermenzing, in which Thorsten Schulz has played two years. The age of eight Schulz moved to FC Bayern Munich. There he enjoyed the youth training from the F- youth to B Youth. Schulz played thus about nine years for the youth teams of FC Bayern Munich. His greatest sporting achievements in the "Junior Team" was winning the German B- Youth Championship under coach Stephan Beckenbauer. His two years in the A- youth he played with FC Energie Cottbus. Thorsten Schulz could be recommended for the amateur team of the Bundesliga and was a regular player in the then fourth division Oberliga. During this time he was allowed to participate in training sessions and pre-season games for the first team under Eduard Geyer and completed his high school education at the same time successfully.

After a broken metatarsal in 2004, he returned to Bavaria and spent a year with the SC Fürstenfeldbruck in the fourth-rate Bavarian League. In 2006, Schulz for amateur team SpVgg Unterhaching and was also there for the service provider. During these two seasons from 2004 to 2006, he completed a parallel training at Commerzbank AG in Munich as a banker. In summer 2007, Thorsten Schulz was promoted under Werner Lorant in the senior squad for the first team. His debut in the Regionalliga Süd he gave on 8 August 2007 (2nd Round ) in a 2-1 victory in the home match against SC Pfullendorf when he came in to replace Roman Tyce in the 66th minute.

After the coaching change, to Ralph Hasenhüttl Schulz was at right-back for the undisputed master force and qualified with SpVgg Unterhaching in 2008 for the newly introduced third league. His first Profitor he achieved on August 17, 2008 ( 3rd Round ) in the 2-0 victory against Stuttgarter Kickers with the results for the interim 1-0 in the 13th minute. Even among hares Hüttls successor Klaus Augenthaler Schulz remained a regular player.

In the summer of 2011, he followed his former coach Hasenhüttl and moved to league rivals VfR Aalen. There he was at first team regular and completed in his first season for the VfR 23 games before it failed because of a torn ACL for the rest of the season. At the end of the season the team reached the second place in the table and climbed up to the 2nd Bundesliga. After his recovery, Schulz has established itself as a regular player of the second division team in the second half of the following season again. Of the Aalenern he was only in April 2013 an offer from the club for an extension of his contract expiring in the summer. Because of the long uncertainty Schulz but had already decided to accept a contract offer from the relegation-threatened at this time league rivals SG Dynamo Dresden and was located at the time of submission of the Aalen offer already on the signing of a valid both for the second and for the third league two-year contract in Dresden.
