Christophe Kempé

Christophe Kempe ( born 2 May 1975 in Aubervilliers, France ) is a French handball player. He is 1.93 m tall and weighs 100 kg.

Kempe, who plays for Toulouse Handball ( number 9 ) and for the French national team ( shirt number 14) runs is usually used as a circular rotor.

Christophe Kempe debuted for USAM Nîmes in the first French league. After only a year he moved on to Sporting Toulouse 31, where in 1998 he won the French Cup. In 1999 he moved to Bidasoa Irun in the Spanish league ASOBAL, but returned after two years returned to Toulouse. Despite persistent failure he now held this club to the fidelity.

Christophe Kempe has been disputed over 150 caps for the French national team. He became European Champion at the World Handball Championship 2006 in Switzerland; at the World Handball Championship 2008 in Norway, he won bronze as well as at the World Championships in Tunisia in 2005 and 2003 in Portugal. In the Handball World Cup 2007 in Germany, he finished fourth at the World Handball Championship 2004 in Slovenia sixth. In the 2008 Olympics he won the gold medal. In 2009 he was World Champion with France.
