Christophe Legoût

Christophe LEGOUT ( born August 6, 1973 in Montbéliard ) is a French table tennis player. In 1997 he was runner-up with the French team.

Achievements

The left-hander LEGOUT participated in all nine World Table Tennis Championships since 1993. He won the 1997 in Manchester silver in the team competition. In 1995, he was fourth with France. In European Championships he won the title with the team in 1994, 1996, the team finished second. In 1999 he reached the European ranking tournament Europe Top 12 Samsonov behind second place. 1996, 2000 and 2008, he was qualified for participation in the Olympic Games.

LEGOUT joined in 2001 as by then the first Frenchman from the French club Levallois UTT in the German Bundesliga TTF Liebherr Ochsenhausen, where he was but downgraded because of lack of success in the second half to the rear pair cross. At the end of the season he returned to the UTT Levallois. Currently (2007) he plays the French first division club Istres Sports.
