Christopher Bartle

Christopher Bartle (usually shortened Chris Bartle called; born February 19, 1952 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire ) is a well known English dressage and eventing riders and coaches. He was several times successful Olympian and since 2001, together with Hans Melzer national coach of the German eventing team. Today, he heads the Yorkshire Riding Centre in Harrogate. Chris is the younger brother of Jane Bartle -Wilson, the Los Angeles Olympic participant was also 1984.

Training

Chris attended Ampleforth College and the University of Bristol, where he earned the degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics with distinction.
