Christopher Cazenove

Christopher Cazenove ( born December 17, 1943 in Winchester, Hampshire, England; † April 7, 2010 in London) was a British actor.

Life and work

Cazenove grew up in the British county of Hampshire. After attending school at the private schools Dargon School and Eton College and studied at Oxford University, he turned to acting.

In 1970 he debuted as a TV actor in a film adaptation of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. In the following years he worked mainly with in television productions. His most famous role was that of Ben Carrington in the U.S. soap opera Dynasty, which he almost two years, 1986 and 1987, played.

Cazenove died on 7 April 2010 from the effects of blood poisoning.

Family

Cazenove was married from 1973 to 1994 to actress Angharad Rees. The marriage had two sons, Linford (1974-1999) and Rhys ( b. 1976 ). Linford died in a car accident on the M11 in Essex killed. His girlfriend Isabel Davies was, until his death at his side.
