Christopher Schläffer

Christopher Schläffer ( born August 23, 1969) is an Austrian entrepreneur and founder of yetu.

Life

Schläffer is a graduate of the University of Economics in Vienna and started his career at Accenture. In 1998 he moved to Deutsche Telekom AG, and in 2000 was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy Group appointed.

2002 Christopher Schläffer to " Corporate Development Officer" (CDO ) appointed, and led in addition to the Group's strategy, the central areas of technology / networks ( CTO), Processes / IT (CIO ), innovation, research and development and venture capital.

In 2006, Christopher Schläffer as " Chief Product & Innovation Officer" and a member of the " Executive Operating Board " operational responsibility for the Group's product portfolio. In this role, he continued strategic innovation fields such as IPTV, mobile Internet, and key strategic partnerships with companies such as Apple ( exclusive marketing of the iPhone ) or Google to ( launch of the first mobile phone based on the Android operating system ).

2007 Schläffer was selected by the World Economic Forum in Davos in the forum of the " Young Global Leader".

2010 Christopher Schläffer left at his own request, the German Telekom and founded yetu, an open platform for smart homes.

Commitment

Christopher Schläffer involved in numerous public institutions and functions for an open information society, and regularly guest lectures at the Technical University of Berlin on the subject of innovation. He is a founding member of the organizing committee of the Beethoven Piano Competition.
