Chu Mu - Yen (Chinese朱 木 炎, pinyin Zhū muyan, born 14 March 1982) is a former Taiwanese Taekwondo. In 2003 he was flyweight world champion and 2004 Olympic gold medalist.

His first international success came Chu at the Junior World Cup in 1998 in Istanbul, where up to 48 kilograms, it reached the finals in the class and won silver. The breakthrough in the adult area, he succeeded in 2001. 's Class up to 54 kg, he moved at the World Championships in Jeju -si semi-finals and won the bronze medal in the following year he achieved at the Asian Games in Busan the finals and won silver. There he lost his quarter-final against Yulis Mercedes, but fought his way through the repechage to the small final and won after a win against Chutchawal Khawlaor with bronze his second Olympic medal.

Chu has taken no international competitions more after the Games 2008. He has studied occupational therapy at the University of Pittsburgh.
