Ciamak Moresadegh

Ciamak Moresadegh (Persian سیامک مصدق ), also Ciamak Morsadegh or Siamak Moreh Sedgh written ( born 1925 in Shiraz ) is a representative of the Jewish minority in the Iranian parliament.

Moresadegh is general surgeon, university professor, director of the Jewish Dr. Sapir Hospital and Welfare Centre and Chairman of the Jewish Community Tehran.

In the parliamentary elections in 2008, he took over from Maurice Motamed and was initially as this is the only representative of the Jews in Parliament. Since the parliamentary elections in Iran in 2012, the religious minority of Jews has three deputies. The parliamentarians Moresadegh was one of the companions of the new Iranian president, Hassan Rohani, at its first appearance before the UN General Assembly on September 25, 2013 in New York.
