Cibolo is a city in Guadalupe County and Bexar County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located on Cibolo Creek in the central southeast Texas, in the far west of the county and extends into the Bexar County. It has a total area of 13.8 km ² without significant water surface.

History

As 1877, the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway gave her the supply depot is located near Cibolo Valley, the small settlement, which was previously known only under Fromme 's Store, after the eponymous grocery store, Cibolo was named. The first post office was established in 1883.
