Cinema of Taiwan

The history of the Chinese-language film consists of three different lines of development: the film in China, the film in Hong Kong and the film in Taiwan. The film in Taiwan, aside from dominated by the entertainment cinema in Hong Kong and the state regulations subject to film in China an independent film culture.
