Citroën C3 Picasso ( 2009-2013)

The Citroen C3 Picasso is a car model of the French car maker Citroën, which was presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 2008.

The 4.08 -meter-long minivan based on the PF1 platform of the Peugeot 207 and the end of 2009 introduced the second Citroën C3 generation. After the Xsara Picasso, C8 and C4 Picasso, he is currently the fourth Van of the brand. Every year should be built up to 110,000 vehicles in the Slovakian plant in Trnava from the C3 Picasso.

General

The space concept is based on competition models such as the Opel Meriva, Renault Grand Modus and Nissan Note. Here, the luggage compartment offers a boot volume 385-1506 liters. In addition, can be shared and reclining rear seats move by 15 inches and fold down to a flat load floor. The latter may be extended once by moving the front passenger seat. In the cockpit is, as with other Citroen vehicles, a digital central speedometer used. The safety equipment in addition to ESP also includes ASR and six airbags.

The exterior design of the five-seater is marked by curves and black bumpers. A special feature are the split A- pillars that give the impression of a panoramic windscreen. Together with the optional panoramic glass roof make all discs have a glass area of 4.52 square meters.

Since January 2013, a modified C3 Picasso is offered.

As part of the facelift comes a redesigned bumper and a vice änderter grille on the vehicles. The Citroën double angle begins to spread out in the form of a chrome clasp up to the headlights. LED daytime running lights mounted below the front fog lamps. On the technical side was the performance of the larger diesel engine, which is now marketed as the HDi 115, increased by 2 hp.

The range of engines comprises four engine; two created in collaboration with BMW petrol engines with 1.4 - liter displacement and 70 kW (95 hp) and a 1.6 - liter engine with 88 kW (120 hp). The diesel engine is a 1.6 - liter common- rail version with a particulate filter and 68 kW ( 92 hp ) or 82 kW ( 112 hp ), whose power to 84 kW ( 114 hp ) has increased in the wake of the facelift. All engines except the 115 HDi 110/HDi ( since 2011 six-speed transmission ) are combined as standard with a five-speed manual transmission. Since June 2012, the VTi 95 is also available as an LPG model. In this model, the fuel tank holds 50 liters, the pressure tank for the liquid gas is 33 liters.
