City Hall and City Duma

The City Council and Duma building in Moscow new business district Moscow City will be the new headquarters of the Moscow government and also house the City Duma. The building will consist of four 308.4 meter, 71 -storey high buildings. These four identical buildings are so interconnected that results in the facades from all four corners of the letter M ( for Moscow).

As the government buildings of Moscow are widely distributed throughout the city, this project was born. The goal is to get the authorities under one roof. In addition, the old office building can be sold. In addition, the new buildings will be technically better equipped.

Work on this project began in November 2005. Originally, the complex should be completed in 2009, but delayed currently the continued construction in the context of the international financial crisis. Currently (as of summer 2010), the construction is not active.
