Cuauhtémoc is a town with 114,000 inhabitants in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The third largest city in the state is the administrative seat of the municipality of Cuauhtémoc. The city was named after the last Aztec Emperor Cuauhtémoc. The place was called San Antonio de los Arenales originally and is mainly due to its Mennonite settlement known, with villages as Schönwiese and Blumenau.
