Claude Davis

Claude Davis ( born March 6, 1979 in Kingston) is a Jamaican football player who plays for Crystal Palace in the Football League Championship.

Career

Davis was hired in 2003 by Portmore United to Preston North End, before the club presented him a contract for permanent employment in March 2004. During the season 2004/ 05 the central defender was able to earn a regular place in defense. The following year he played an outstanding season and was selected both by the supporters of his club and his players player of the year. After the end of the season he announced his move to Sheffield United announced that had risen in the FA Premier League. Sheffield paid 2.5 million pounds for Davis. Due to a knee injury he could not play early in the season and only came on 23 September 2006 to his Erstligadebüt in the 0-3 defeat at Arsenal. By season's end, he rose from a table with Sheffield Eighteenth from the Premier League. For the season 2007/ 08 he spent 3 million pounds to Derby County.

Since 2009, Claude Davis plays for Crystal Palace in the Football League Championship.
