Clem Burke

Clem Burke (born 24 November 1955 New York City ) is an American drummer and member of the band Blondie. He founded with Chris Stein and Debbie Harry and the band kept her up to their resolution. He was also at the reunion Blondies in the late 1990s there.

In the 1980s and 1990s, as Blondie was disbanded, Burke played drums, among others, for The Romantics ( 1990-2004 ), Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan, the Eurythmics, Dramarama, Iggy Pop, and Joan Jett. Even with the Ramones he occupied the vacant after the sudden exit Richie Ramones position of drummer for two performances in August 1987 under the name Elvis Ramone. On 8 October 2004, he joined again under the name Elvis Ramone and CJ Ramone, together with Tommy and Daniel Rey to the Ramones concert " Ramones Beat on Cancer " on ( German: " The Ramones beat cancer ", an allusion to the title of the Ramones Beat on the Brat and related to the death from cancer Johnny Ramones ).

In 2004 and 2005 he was with Nancy Sinatra on tour.
