Clemens Arnold

Clemens Arnold ( born August 31, 1978 in Melbourne ) is a former German hockey player who in 2002 was goalkeeper in the world championship team.

Career

Clemens Arnold was born in Australia, but returned at the age of one and a half years back to Germany. His club career began at HC Heidelberg. With the Harvestehuder THC was Clemens Arnold 2000 German Masters. Later he was active for the Dürkheimer and HC for the HTC Gladbach.

In 1997 he reached the German junior national team to third place at the Junior World Championships in 1998, he won the German team, the Junior European Championships. As early as 1997 he made his debut in the German national hockey team, with whom he became European Champion in 1999.
