Clemens Zeller

Clemens Zeller ( born July 2, 1984 in Krems an der Donau) is an Austrian runner and student at the Ecclesiastical College of Education Vienna / Krems.

Sports career

Zeller was at his European Championship debut in sixth over 400 meters the highest-ranked Austrian of ÖLV at the European Indoor Championships in 2007.

When Austrian Top4 meeting in Villach Zeller qualified on 16 June 2007 for the World Championships in Osaka. He ran over 400 meters in 45.83 s and thus remained twelve -hundredth of the world championship standard of 45.95 s Zeller is the second Austrian, who remained below 46 seconds over the stadium round.

On 24 January 2009, he qualified again for the European Indoor Championships over 400 meters in 46.74 s, where he missed 7 March 2009 with his time of 46.62 s the bronze medal by only 8 percentage and was fourth.

Zeller improved on 3 June 2010 at the Liese Prokop Memorial in St. Pölten on the 400 meters with 45.69 s the Austrian record of Christopher Pöstinger, the latter was run in 45.80 s in 1997.

At the European Athletics Championships in 2010, he had to give up due to an injury to lead over 400 meters and thus different from.
