Climax Entertainment

Climax Entertainment is a Japanese multimedia producer based in Tokyo. The company has been (at that time approximately 106,500 DM) founded in April 1990 with a starting capital of 10 million yen and is now focused mainly on the production of console video games.

Getting started was made as part of the 16- bit era with known Sega classics like Shining Force, Landstalker and Shining Force II, respectively for the Sega Mega Drive ( or Genesis) have appeared. With Dark Savior and Time Stalkers was later also created titles for the advanced Sega consoles like Saturn and Dreamcast. More games appeared, among others for various Nintendo systems.

1994 left some employees the company and founded in collaboration with members of Telenet Japan the video game manufacturing company Matrix Software, which was responsible among other things for the Nintendo DS port of Final Fantasy III.

Since 2007, we produced mainly for Wii and Nintendo DS.
