CLOVER is a proprietary data transmission protocol for wireless connections.

It was by the American electrical engineer and amateur radio operator Raymond C. Petit (1943-1999, Ringer W7GHM ) for the company HAL Communications Corp.. developed. CLOVER is modeled on the German Pactor and is used since the 1990s for professional purposes and in amateur radio.

The data is transferred in the bandwidth of a speech channel.
