Coalition for Bulgaria
The Coalition for Bulgaria ( Bulgarian Коалиция за България / Koalizija za Balgarija ) is a political coalition in Bulgaria, founded in 2001 by several left-wing parties to the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP ). The coalition is represented in the Bulgarian and European Parliament.
In the 2001 parliamentary elections, the coalition won 17.1% of the vote ( 783,372 votes) and thus represent 48 (of 240) deputies.
As Bulgaria and Romania joined the European Union in 2007, there were the European elections held for the sixth European Parliament in 2007. In the rest of the Union, they were held in 2004. At the 2005 parliamentary elections, as well as in the European elections of 2007, the Coalition for Bulgaria took part in the following constellation:

- Political Movement Social Democrats

- Agrarunion Al. Stambolijski
- Green Party in Bulgaria
In the parliamentary elections in 2005, they could win 34.2%, which corresponds to 1,129,196 votes. It was the second largest with 82 seats fraction and could form the government under Sergei Stanishev in a three-way coalition with the National Movement for Stability and Progress ( NDWS ) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms ( DPS ).
At the European elections in June 2009 and the parliamentary elections 7 on 5 July 2009 she participated at the following constellation:

In the parliamentary elections of 2009, the coalition was only 17.72 %, 747,849 votes, winning for themselves. Thus, it had only 40 seats in the Bulgarian Parliament. This was the worst result of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP ) -led coalition and in the history of the BSP at the same time.
