Cobham Aviation Services Australia

Cobham Aviation Services Australia (formerly National Jet Systems ) is an Australian airline based in Adelaide. It is a subsidiary of Cobham plc and British flying primarily under the brand QantasLink.

History

The Company was incorporated under the name of National Jet Systems in 1989 and began flight operations on 1 July 1990. Soon we flew scheduled services on behalf of Australian Airlines under the name Airlink. Mainly resorts were flown in northern Australia with a fleet of BAe 146.

After the takeover of Australian airlines Qantas 's route network has been maintained and the flight operations began in 2005 under the brand QantasLink Boeing 717-200. This contract will run initially until 2012.

2009 National Jet Systems was renamed Cobham Aviation Services Australia.

The company also owns the subsidiary National Jet Express ( short Jetex ) cargo- flights for Australian Air Express performs and Surveillance Australia, which operates for the Border Protection Command. Another daughter, Fleet Support, which operated for the Royal Australian Navy, presented in 1996 the operation.
