Cobham (Surrey)

Cobham is a town in the district Elmbridge in Surrey.

Cobham located 32 kilometers south-west of London and goes back to a Roman settlement. Cobham is located in the immediate vicinity of the former Brooklands circuit. This proximity provided for economic aspects of motorsport. From 1933 until just before the Second World War produced Railton Cobham in its automobiles. In the 1960s and 1970s produced Huron Formula Ford and Formula Atlantic race cars. Also Invicta Car and Silver Hawk engine had production facilities in this city. The football club Chelsea FC in Cobham its training facilities

Cobham is located on the A307 and the railway station of Cobham & Stoke to reach London Waterloo station.
