Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan is one of the largest venues in the United States with approximately 67,400 square meters of exhibition space. Place annually in the 2nd and 3rd week of January here one of the most important automotive trade fairs, the North American International Auto Show NAIAS shortly. However, other important and well-known fairs and concerts take place there. From 1961 to 1978, the rotunda was, inter alia, the home site of the Detroit Pistons from the NBA until they moved to the Pontiac Silverdome. Currently, the Roller Derby team the Detroit Derby Girls is located in the hall.

2009, the renovation and expansion of around 270 million U.S. dollars was approved. The construction project will start in 2009 and be completed in three phases by 2015. A documentary is now turned over the Cobo Center.
