Cody Simpson
Cody Robert Simpson (born 11 January 1997 Gold Coast ) is an Australian R & B and pop musicians. He began his career with home videos on YouTube.
Life
1997 Cody Robert Simpson, the son of Brad and Angie Simpson in Gold Coast, Queensland was born. He also has a younger sister and a younger brother. At seven, he began playing the guitar and wrote his first songs at age eight.
At age eleven, he presented for the first time his music videos on YouTube. Soon after, joined the Grammy-nominated music producer Shawn Campbell, who has also written music for numerous pop stars like Jay -Z and Missy Elliott, with Simpson in contact and took with him the first songs One and Perfect on. On 12 January 2010 he held his first Meet and Greet in New York. His channel on YouTube was in January 2010 in the top 10 of the most viewed channels from Australia. In June 2010 he went to Los Angeles to record his songs Summertime and iYiYi with Flo Rida at the record label Atlantic Records. That same month, appeared iYiYi as the first official single. The music video for proposals was published on 30 June 2010 and the Summertime video was published on 20 September 2010.
From July 5, 2010 to August 14, he traveled with many other artists in the Camplified 2010 tour of the United States. This was Cody's first tour. On August 14, 2010 he also appeared on the "Shop Til You Rock Tour" in Oxmoor Center Mall in Louisville.
On 21 December 2010, his first EP 4U with the songs iYiYi, All Day, Round of Applause and Do not Cry Your Heart Out published. The All Day music video was released on February 23, 2011.
From April to May 2011 brought him the undertaken jointly with Greyson Chance Waiting 4 U tour of America. On it he presented the two new songs I Found U and Not Just You.
On 20 September 2011, the EP Coast to Coast has been published. He also made from 6 August to 18 September, a Coast- to- Coast Tour. On June 12, 2012 iTunes Preview to Paradise brought the new songs Wish You Were Here, Got Me Good, So lists and gentlemen on the market. The album Paradise was released on 2 October 2012.
From 5 July to September 21, 2012 Cody toured with Big Time Rush by the United States. In November 2012, he gave four concerts in the UK. In February and March 2013, he joined again in England as well as in Dublin, then in several European cities, often the opening act for Justin Bieber. On March 12 and 13, he played concerts in Munich and Cologne.
Others
Major influences in his music come from Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Pete Murray, Jack Johnson and his music teacher Ram Sefer.
Besides music, he has broken several records in swimming and won championships. In Australia, he is the fastest kid in the 50 - meter butterfly swimming.
Since 2010, Cody Simpson lives in Los Angeles.
