Coldrain

Cold Rain is a Japanese alternative rock and post-hardcore band that was founded in Nagoya in 2007.

Band History

Initially she appeared exclusively in their home region to live. The lyrics are written in English and submitted by vocalist Masato, who is half American descent. In 2008, the band from Japanese label VAP was signed and released her first single Fiction. After a tour of the 2009 second single followed 8am, in the summer of the year, the band performed at the Summer Sonic Festival. In October, the debut album, The Final Destination and reached number 88 on the Oricon album charts appeared. In June 2010, the mini-album, Nothing Lasts Forever followed, followed by the second album, The Enemy Inside ( 2011). The notice published in the Summer 2012 EP Through Clarity reached number 14 in the Japanese album charts. In February 2014, the band began a European tour with the German band Callejon and Welsh band Bullet for my Valentine as headliners.

Two songs of the group found in anime use: 8am to Hajime no Ippo New Challenger and We're Not Alone Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin.
