Colin Campbell (New Zealand bishop)

Colin David Campbell ( born September 22, 1941 in Dunedin ) is Bishop of Dunedin.

Life

The Bishop of Dunedin, John Patrick Kavanagh, ordained him a priest on 27 June 1966 and was incardinated in the Clergy of the Diocese of Dunedin. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 29 April 2004 as Bishop of Dunedin.

He received his episcopal consecration of Bishop Emeritus of Dunedin, Leonard Anthony Boyle, on 9 July of the same year; Co-consecrators were Patrick James Dunn, Bishop of Auckland, and John Atcherley Dew, Archbishop of Wellington and military Bishop of New Zealand.
