Colin Trevorrow

Colin Trevorrow (* September 13 1976 in San Francisco, California) is an American film director and screenwriter.

Life

Colin Trevorrow grew up in Oakland, California. He studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In New York learned later screenwriter Derek Connolly know while both worked as interns on Saturday Night Live.

In 2002 he made ​​his first short film Homebase. Since 2008 he works on all screenplays together with Derek Connolly together. 2012 was the comedy Safety Not Guaranteed, in Trevorrow directed, and Connolly wrote the screenplay.

The next projects of the duo is a remake of the sci-fi film Flight of the Navigator and the Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World are announced.

Trevorrow lives with his wife Isabelle originating from France and two children in Burlington, Vermont.
